Emergency Plumber in North & West London

Water leaking, a burst pipe or no water at all. Call us on 07584 302002 and we will tell you honestly how soon we can be with you.

Plumbing problems rarely happen at a convenient time. When something goes wrong, the most important thing is to limit the damage, then get it fixed properly. Call us and describe what is happening, and we will tell you what to do straight away and when an engineer can get to you.

We deal with leaks, burst and split pipes, overflowing tanks and toilets, failed valves and loss of water supply. Once the immediate problem is under control, we repair it properly rather than leaving a temporary fix.

Urgent problems we deal with

  • Burst and split pipes
  • Leaks from pipes, tanks, cylinders and appliances
  • Water coming through ceilings
  • Overflowing toilets and tanks
  • Stopcocks that will not turn off
  • No water or very low pressure

Good to know

What to do while you wait

  • Turn off the water at the stopcock. It is usually under the kitchen sink, in a downstairs cupboard or where the water pipe enters the house
  • If water is near sockets, lights or the fuse box, turn the electricity off at the consumer unit if it is safe to do so
  • Switch off the boiler and any immersion heater
  • Open the cold taps to drain water from the pipes
  • Move valuables and electrical items away from the water and put towels or buckets down
  • If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency number, 0800 111 999

Not sure where your stopcock is? Find it now, before you need it. It is the single most useful thing to know in a plumbing emergency.

Call straight away if

  • Water is coming through a ceiling or wall
  • A pipe has burst or split
  • You cannot stop water flowing
  • There is water near electrics
  • You have no water supply at all

What affects the price

We tell you our charges when you call, before anyone comes out. Once we have seen the problem, we explain the repair and agree the price before doing it.

Questions

Emergency Plumber: common questions

How quickly can you come out?

It depends on the time and how busy we are. Call 07584 302002 and we will tell you honestly when we can be with you.

Where is my stopcock?

Usually under the kitchen sink, in a downstairs cupboard or toilet, or near where the water pipe enters the house. In flats it can be in a hallway cupboard or riser. Turn it clockwise to close it.

Should I turn off my electricity during a leak?

If water is near sockets, light fittings or the fuse box, turn off the electricity at the consumer unit, but only if you can reach it without touching water.
